Here in the Portland Metro area, Portland seems to pride itself on being rather "weird" or an unusual place. Maybe that's why I fit in this place so well, who knows. But indeed, this one local TV station has a segment they use calling it "Keeping Portland Weird" and yes, many of the things they show are rather weird or odd, at best.

And then, there are people like this woman in this video link I am going to post. It's people like her that keep me living...

This week end in France are the Patrimony Days when a lot of museums, monuments, old houses or farms or whatever which is related with history (recent or ancient) or can teach us something (like artists places, I mean not exposition but their places, or places where old stuff are restaured, woods, fields....).

On September 3rd, I started my work for Cat Adoption Team ( CAT ). CAT

They are a no-kill cat shelter that takes in cats that are abandoned, abused and even from local animal shelters. We get to them before they are euthanized just for taking up too much room at those kinds of shelters for too long.
