You know when I first saw that I thought it said URINE! Then I looked again! I concur!! That makes two of us, Bally. I wasn't too sure how he would play Kirk but his performance just blew me away... Also, I had never, ever found Kirk sexy until Chris came along. He's absolutely perfect for this role. And don't worry, I too remember watching his father on CHiPs... Yes, Annie! CHiPs was the first time I saw Robert Pine! Great kid you got there, Mr Pine! You must be proud I remember when I was a kid watching the TOS and my Mum was a BIG Trekkie and LOVED William Shatner as Kirk. He was "My Boy" in her words. I never thought Kirk sexy either but later in life, I saw piccies of Shatner before he was Kirk and OMG, he was DIVINE! And I told my Mum so and she said "I told you so!". When the new Trek was being made in 2007, I told her about it and told her that "My Boy" was playing the young McCoy and she was looking forward to it, so was Dad. After seeing the movie this year, I told her that Chris was great as the young Kirk and that "My Boy" was fantastic! The sad part is now, my Mum has short term memory loss (early dementia) so I hope when she finally sees the movie this week, she is able to follow it and at the same time, remember the old Trek episodes of her boy! ~ Bally ~ Urbanite #6 - Keeper of Karl's perfect little nose and Eomer's flared nostrils

Ive probably seen every startrek movie at least once if not more and most of the orig series and i have to say this Karl has Bones down pat , I was on my pc aswell as watching the film and chasing my kids round the house but everytime one of the characters came on i knew who it was . Brilliant is not a word i use lightly but i have tyo say that this film and all the actors involed were just that Karl is Mcoy end of and if they do make another one i hope to god he takes the part.
