I was wondering about the release of BWT so I started a bit of research and found this article from the LA Times, dated from last year. This isn't good
news, folks. Seems like the movie doesn't even have a distributor anymore... *sighs*

great link, lady vaako.
if nobody has picked up 'transit' for distribution by now, it's very unlikely it will see a theatrical run and will almost certainly go straight to dvd. what a pity; kaye is a bit of a hard case (he went mental during the 'am. history x' debacle but imho he was completely in the right, norton had no right to edit kaye's piece to his liking, BS) but i think he's a talent. |

Sadly, this doesn't surprise me at all. As long as this movie has been in the can, something told me it'd not be released and would go straight to DVD.
Poor Karl and the other actors involved. That is really too bad. But I do plan on renting it and if I like it, buying it. I hope it can recoup some losses that
way.

I just read the article in your link, Annie. The film hasn't even been finished? Jaysus H Christ with a side of fries. I wonder if it'll ever get
finished to put it on DVD.
BTW, the comments under the article are interesting too. |

I'm sure most or all of us would at least rent it, even if it gets to that point, especially with Lawrence Fishbourne in it. How distressing. News had
Karl in South America, I thought, doing Relentless at this point, so it must be nearly done.

Well, according to IMDB (I know, sometimes not that reliable) the movie is completed and is supposed to be released this year.

Well I guess we will have to wait and see...honestly with names like Lawrence Fishborne in it you would think it would hit the big screen...

^^ I know.
What a disappointment it hasn't been released yet, not just for us Karl fans, but for all involved with it.

Here is a link to Capitol Films and their info on the movie. Sorry, no news on date yet, but
I guess they would be the first to know...
...and there's a photo of Karl looking bada$$! This is the first time I post and I haven't yet explored the whole community, so sorry if you've seen this before.

So frustrating all this story. The worst part is that if it's released only in DVD I'm not sure I'll be able to find it in Brazil (I'm still
looking for Surrender Dorothy and can't find it anywhere!). I hope so. I'd really want to watch this movie.

Those are very bad news!! Here in Spain it's very difficult to find karl's films, specially the first ones... I hope that BWT will be distributed
here.

I don't understand the hows and about on this movie...
First when I did search ont the internet I saw mentions of Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson and 2007. And then I read Laurence Fishburne and Karl Urban and 2009? So I wonder? What is this ? Was it the same movie, the same plot ? For me it sounds rather....weird and well, I hope it is interesting. But I woulnd't go to see in anyway, sorry for that, although I really think being a cold killer (as Kiril eg) is a great character for Mr Karl Urban. |

Yes, it was basically the same movie, but WIllis and Jackson dropped out. This happens with movies - the cast gets announced but production doesn't begin
and everyone moves on to something else. I'm sure there were plenty of script changes along the way though. It's such a shame it's caught up in
legal problems, so who knows when it will get released.

Has someone got some new information about the film? While the legal problems persist, I've bought the book to read, he!! It's only edited in English
so it cost me a little more to read it, but...... I'll can imagine Karl on that role
