Back in February it was announced that there would be a book adaptation of Star Trek. The book will be written by the well-known scifi author Alan Dean Foster
who also happens to have written the novelization for The Chronicles of Riddick. Mr. Foster is a long-time Star Trek
author as well.
According to Trekmovie.com, the trade paperback (measuring 5 5/16″ x 8 1/4″) has an official release date of May 12th and can be preordered at Amazon (currently discounted to $10.20). There will be audio and e-book versions, also available on May 12th. The novel is 192 pages long.
